In the glowing and transparent skin of the falling leaf, are intimations of a life well-lived. I am reminded of the faces of my many wise elders, my faithful mentors.

Infinity In the Fall of a Leaf
In the autumn of 1964, the brilliant fall of Japanese maple leaves around temples in Kyoto, the ancient capital of Japan, created for me life-time memories of wonder and joy. Now, as those memories are stirred by the fall of Japanese maple leaves in Canada, I am reminded of our international connectivity and of the possibilities we now have for collectively contemplating what may create a more joyful global community.
